Police have released an image of the suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred at a Dernancourt petrol station last week and which may be connected to another robbery in Salisbury Park earlier that same night.

At about 11.50pm last Thursday, a man armed with a knife entered the BP On The Run service station on Lower North East Road and demanded money from staff.

He fled with an amount of cash, and was last seen driving away in a white VT/VX Holden Commodore sedan which did not have registration plates.

No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, stocky build, and was wearing a black balaclava, hooded jumper and tracksuit pants. See image below.

Just after 6pm that same night, a man had his keys and wallet stolen on Goddard Drive in Salisbury Park, after being threatened by a man with a knife who later fled in a car.

The suspect and vehicle description are similar to those in the service station robbery.

The victim in the Salisbury Park robbery was not injured.

If anyone has any information about either of these robberies or they think they may know the suspect they are asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
