Rockhampton detectives investigating the robbery of a Rockhampton bank on January 8 have charged a man with armed robbery.
Police will allege that around 3.30pm a man entered a bank located within a shopping centre on Yammba Road.
The man approached a teller intimating that he was armed with a firearm and threatened a teller and demanded cash.
The man then fled the scene with a sum of cash.
A 33-year-old Yeppoon man is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today where he also faces a charge of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
