Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a grocer in Lethbridge Park yesterday.

About 8.10pm (Thursday 29 January 2015), two men, one armed with a sawn-off shotgun, entered a grocery store on Apia Place.

Police have been told the two men threatened a male employee, demanding cash.

The armed pair ran from the scene, towards the underpass of Bougainville Road, taking cash.

Officers attached to Mt Druitt Local Area Command were notified of the incident and a crime scene was established.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist them.

One man was seen wearing a cream-coloured hooded jumper and gloves.

The second man was seen wearing a black hooded-jumper and gloves.
