23 January 2015 – Armed Robbery – Hilton Hotel – Bottle Shop – Mile End

Sturt Police are currently searching the Hilton and Mile End areas following an attempt robbery at the Hilton Hotel.
Just after 11am, a man armed with a syringe threatened staff at the drive-thru bottle shop on South Road. The staff refused and the man ran off empty handed, last seen running west on Darebin Street Mile End.
There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian aged in his early 20’s, thin build, wearing a black t-shirt with a grey motif on the front and a white stripe on both sleeves, blue jeans and goatee. He was also carrying a black and white backpack.
