Elizabeth police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Parafield Gardens today.

Just after 4.30pm, a man has threatened staff with a hammer at a grocery store on Martins Road, Parafield Gardens. The suspect punched the victim in the face, and fled with cash possibly on a bike.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man aged 20-25 years, unshaven and was wearing a white t-shirt and a green baseball cap.
