A man will face court tomorrow following an alleged aggravated robbery in Bargo on the weekend.
About 10pm (Sunday 8 February 2015) a woman was working at a service station on Railside Drive when a man entered the store.
Police have been told the man picked up a jar of coffee and dropped it in the store, causing the jar to smash.
The employee went to the assistance of the man, when he allegedly took cigarettes from a counter and pushed the woman aside, before fleeing the scene.
The woman received minor back and rib injuries; however did not require treatment.
Officers attached to Camden Local Area Command were called and commenced investigations.
Following inquiries, about 2pm today (Tuesday 10 February 2015), a 44-year-old man was arrested at a unit block on Great Southern Road, Bargo.
He was taken to Narellan Police Station, where he was charged with robbery and refused bail, to appear at Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 11 February 2015).
