Police have arrested two men in relation to a brawl at a licensed club in Sydney’s west last night.

The altercation broke out between a group watching a cricket match at the club on Military Road, Merrylands, about 9.30pm (Sunday 15 February 2015).

Police and other emergency services attended soon after.

Four people sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the melee. Three were taken to Westmead Hospital; one was conveyed to Auburn Hospital.

This afternoon (Monday 16 February), police arrested two men, aged 20 and 18.

They remain in custody and are likely to be charged with riot and affray.

Police from Holroyd Local Area Command are continuing their investigation and envisage further arrests.
