Police are searching for a woman and a vehicle following a petrol drive off in Lynbrook earlier this month where a man was injured.
Investigators have been told that a white Toyota sedan has pulled into a petrol station on the Dandenong-Hastings Road around 9.30pm on 3 February.
A woman has filled the vehicle with petrol and a witness has then alerted staff to a possible theft.
The male staff member has then approached the vehicle, however the occupants have started to drive off.
The man then ended up on the hood of the car and fell off after the vehicle had travelled around 30m.
He sustained head and arm injuries and was conveyed to Dandenong Hospital.
Detectives from Casey Crime Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing with anyone who has information about the incident or those involved to come forward.
The white Toyota sedan had a NSW number plate OKC 502, which had previously been reported stolen.
The female driver has been described as being of Caucasian appearance with brown hair that was possibly a wig.
Investigators have also released CCTV images of the woman and the vehicle.
