Police are investigating the robbery of a jewellery store in Dubbo this morning, where approximately $30,000 worth of jewellery was stolen.

About 1.20am (Wednesday 11 March 2015), officers attached to Orana Local Area Command were called to a shopping centre on Windsor Parade, after security guards noticed a smashed glass door.

On arrival, police located another smashed window at a jewellery store in the northern side of the complex.

Further investigations revealed approximately $30,000 worth of jewellery had been taken from the store.

A crime scene was established and as police continue their investigations, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, and of slim build.

Police also believe a vehicle, not linked to the incident, was driving around the area at the time of the incident.
