10 March 2015 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Cleveland

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Cleveland this afternoon.
Around 4.20pm a man entered a bottle shop on Wynyard Street and threatened the attendant with a knife, demanding cash.
The attendant complied and the man fled the store with cash and a quantity of liquor.
He was last seen running along Queen Street.
No-one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being around 170cm tall with a slim build, an olive complexion and dark hair and eyes.
Anyone who may have information that could assist with enquiries is urged to contact police.
