Police are investigating the robbery of a cake shop in Caboolture South yesterday have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Just after 3pm a man entered the shop on Morayfield Road, approached the counter and threatened the female shop attendant.

The man was seen to be holding a metal object in one hand and a lighter in his other hand.

The shop attendant has complied with the man’s demands and the man has then left the store with a sum of cash.

The man is described as indigenous in appearance, approximately 170cms tall, with a solid build.

He was wearing a black and white baseball cap, bright blue shirt with white writing on the front, and black knee length quick dry shorts.
