Police are investigating after an armed robbery at Bald Hills last night.

Around 10.10pm, a man entered a service station on Strathpine Road armed with a weapon and has demanded cash from the attendant.

The attendant has complied and the man then took a number of other items from the station before leaving with the cash and items.

As he has left he has threatened a number of witnesses outside the service station.

The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 158cm tall and of proportionate build. His face was covered and he was wearing a black shirt and pants and was wearing a full brimmed hat.

He was seen leaving the premises in a 2007, silver Corolla hatchback with a Queensland registration number 701- MWL.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
