Police have charged two men after an alleged armed robbery in Windaroo near Beenleigh.
Just after 8pm it is alleged two men, one armed with a gun and the other with a golf club, entered a convenience store on Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road. The pair allegedly threatened the male console operator and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The console operator complied with their demands and the two men fled the store. They were located by police a short time later.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
A 17-year-old Mount Warren Park man and a 21-year-old Meadowbrook were both charged with one count each of armed robbery in company. Both men are due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
