Police are investigating an armed robbery of a convenience store in Sans Souci yesterday.

Just after 10pm (Wednesday 29 April 2015), a man entered a convenience store on Rocky Point Road and approached a 35-year-old male employee behind a counter.

Police have been told the man produced a knife, before threatening the employee and demanding money.

He fled the scene north towards Jacobson Lane a short time later, taking cash.

The employee was uninjured during the incident.

Officers attached to St George Local Area Command were called and established a crime scene.

As they continue their investigations, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as wearing a dark grey t-shirt, grey tracksuit pants, a dark-coloured beanie, and a white baseball cap.
