Five boys from the western suburbs have been charged with a number of offences following a series of armed robberies.
It’s believed the robberies occurred between 2 April and 28 April and spanned across suburbs from Point Cook to Glen Waverley to Craigieburn.
A 16-year-old boy and four 17-year-old boys were collectively charged with 40 armed robbery offences.
The boys are set to appear at a Children’s Court.
Four other boys were initially arrested, however they were later released without charge.
The investigation continues.
