6 May 2015 – Armed Robbery – Coffee Shop – Margate

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a coffee shop in Margate this afternoon.
Around 1.15pm a man entered the shop on Victoria Avenue and produced a syringe to a female employee before making demands for cash.
The employee refused the demands but the man took a sum of cash from a transaction that was taking place with a customer.
The man then fled the store on foot.
No-one was physically injured during the incident.
