11 May 2015 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – West Beach

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a West Beach supermarket on Thursday 7 May and have released a CCTV image of the suspect.

At about 8.40pm on Thursday night, a man wearing a mask over his face entered the Burbridge Road supermarket, jumped the counter and demanded staff open the cash registers.

The man ran off with an amount of cash. No one was physically injured.

The suspect is described as being 165cm tall and was wearing black track pants, a black hooded jumper and a black mask showing only his eyes.
