Police are investigating an armed robbery at a storage facility in Moama last night.

Shortly after 7pm (Thursday 21 May 2015), two men with faces partially covered scaled a fence at a storage facility on Cobb Highway.

One of the men produced a firearm before threatening a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, demanding money.

The man and woman complied with the men’s demands and handed over an amount of cash, before the pair fled the scene in a car, not further described.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police from Deniliquin Local Area Command were called and established a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.

Investigations into the incident are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
