21 May 2015 – Update – Arrest – Armed Robbery – Bank – Spring Hill

A man has been charged in relation to the armed robbery of a bank at the intersection of Leichardt and Upper Edward streets in Spring Hill on May 13.
Police will allege that the man entered the business just before 4pm where he threatened staff and customers before stealing a sum of cash and fleeing the scene.
A male customer was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
A 56-year-old One Mile man has been charged with armed robbery and assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
