Police are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor shop at Newton tonight.
Just after 8pm, a man wielding a knife threatened staff at the BWS on Newton Road and stole cash.
The man was last seen running towards Newton Road.
The suspect is described as male, of Caucasian appearance, 172cm, wearing a blue hooded top, khaki jeans and black sand shoes with a white trim near the soles.
There were no injuries.
