A man has been charged after a robbery at a Reynella deli this morning.
A man entered the deli on the corner of Grandview Drive and The Strand at about 8.35am this morning, Tuesday 9 June.
He threatened staff with a knife before leaving with cash and cigarettes.
A man was arrested by Police closeby and money and cigarettes were recovered.
Police will allege that after the arrest the man assaulted a Police officer by spitting in his face.
The 27-year-old from Reynella was charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrate Court tomorrow.
