Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a fast food restaurant in Beverly Hills last night.

About 7.30pm (Friday 19 June 2015), a man entered the restaurant on King Georges Road and jumped the counter.

The man then placed cash from the till into a bag, before forcing two staff members to the floor and demanding other staff get on the ground.

He then took further cash from a second till before attempting to gain access to the safe.

Another man entered the restaurant and was directed to get on the ground and hand over cash.

When a second customer entered the man fled the location.

One of the staff members contacted police and officers from Campsie Local Area Command attended a short time later.

No one was injured during the incident.

A crime scene was established at the location, which was examined by detectives.

Local police, with assistance from PolAir, conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however, the man was not found.

Inquiries into the matter are continuing and police would now like to speak with a man who may be able to assist in the investigation.

The man is described as being about 175-180cm tall and of a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants, dark-coloured Nike shoes, black gloves and was carrying a black satchel bag.
