Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night in Woolloongabba.
Around 10.50pm, a man entered a convenience store on Ipswich Road armed with a hammer.
He made demands for cash to the attendant, who complied, and then fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
The attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as being around 165cms tall and was wearing a dark jumper with a white hood and had his face covered.
Investigations are continuing.
