Knox Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at a fast food outlet in Kilsyth on 20 June.

Investigators have been told a man wearing a black ski jacket and hood, balaclava, faded blue jeans, white runners and gloves entered the Canterbury Road store just after 3am.

He walked directly to an office area where he produced a small knife and gestured for money but did not speak or make any demands.

The female staff member handed over an amount of cash and the man left the store on foot.

It is believed the offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged between 20-30 years old.

Detectives have released an image of a man that may assist with their enquiries.
