Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Paget service station this morning.
Around 4.55am a man entered the Boundary Road business after filling a vehicle with fuel, selected a drink then asked the female attendant for cigarettes.
When the cigarettes were provided the man indicated he was armed and left with the drink, cigarettes and the fuel.
The female attendant was not physically harmed during the incident.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 178cm tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black cap, a blue flannelette jacket and white shorts.
He was driving a silver sedan.
