1 July 2015 – Armed Robbery – Ice Cream Shop – Springwood

Police are investigating an armed robbery at an ice cream shop on Rochedale Road, Springwood.

Around 9.45pm a man entered the business armed with a knife and made demands for cash. Staff complied with his demands and the man fled the store of foot with a sum of money.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 185cm tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a dark hooded jumper.

Investigations are continuing.
