Police are investigating an armed robbery at a pizza restaurant in Beverley Hills yesterday, which is believed to be linked to a robbery at the same location last month.

Just after 7pm (Tuesday 14 July 2015), a man armed with a knife entered the front of the pizza restaurant on King Georges Road and ran to the back of the store, where he confronted a 20-year-old employee.

Police have been told the armed man threatened the male employee and demanded money, before fleeing the scene with cash.

He was last seen running south along King Georges Road.

The employee was uninjured during the incident and contacted police.

Officers attached to Campsie Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As they continue their inquiries, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, of solid build, and was seen wearing black shoes, dark-coloured pants, a black hooded jumper and a fluorescent yellow worker’s vest over the jumper.
