A swift response from patrols has led to the arrest of  three men following an attempted robbery in the CBD overnight.

At about 3.30am, the offenders forced their way into the Lamoka Bar in Peel Street by kicking in the front door.

One of the offenders allegedly threatened staff and demanded cash but, no weapons were sighted.

The trio then fled on foot empty handed and were located a short time later by patrols on the corner of King William Street and Currie Street.

No one was physically injured.

All three have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and attempted aggravated robbery.

A 14-year-old boy from Enfield has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court tomorrow.

A 28-year-old man from Salisbury Heights and a 23-year-old man from Banksia Park have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
