Police have arrested a man following an armed robbery at a Goolwa pharmacy south of Adelaide.
At about 11.20am, the man armed with a knife allegedly threatened staff at the Priceline Pharmacy on Cadell Street and stole prescription drugs.
The suspect described as Caucasian wearing a black hooded top with a light blue t-shirt and black trackpants, fled on foot and was followed by members of the public.
Police patrols cordoned off an area between Cadell and Loveday Street Goolwa, searching for the suspect.
He was arrested at a premises a short distance away from the chemist.
The 20-year-old man from Goolwa will face charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault cause harm. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
