Serious and Organised Crime detectives have secured a quick arrest following a bank robbery at Victor Harbor today.
The 53-year-old man was arrested without incident at his Goolwa North property about 8.30pm tonight.
He was taken to the Victor Harbor Police Station where he was charged with aggravated robbery. He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Friday.
It will be alleged that just after 1.15pm on Thursday 13 August, the man entered the BankSA on Ocean Street, Victor Harbor and threatened staff, stating he had a firearm.
No weapon was seen and the man left the bank with cash. No one was physically injured during the robbery.
