Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a service station in Marsden overnight.
Just after 12.20am two men entered the Third Avenue business before one of the men, who was armed with a knife, approached the store attendant and made demands for cash and cigarettes. The second man remained at the store entrance, holding the doors ajar.
The 26-year-old male shop attendant complied with the demands and the men fled the store with cash and cigarettes.
The shop attendant was not physically injured.
Investigations are continuing.
