Police are appealing for information after an overnight robbery at a Dundas service station.

About 11.45pm yesterday (Tuesday 18 August 2015), two males entered the service station on Kissing Point Road.

Police were told one of the males threatened the console operator with a machete and demanded money.

The console operator handed over cash register drawer and the pair left the building.

They were last seen running north on Quarry Road.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.

The first male was described as being of Caucasian appearance, 20-25-years-old and was last seen wearing a white cap, dark blue hooded jumper with a gold design on the front and a number on the back, dark pants and white shoes.

The second male is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 25-30 years old, dark blue hooded jumper, dark tracksuit pants, black and red shoes.
