Police are investigating after a service station was robbed in Brisbane last night.

At around 9.30pm, a man entered a service station on Milburn Street at Chermside and produced a handgun, threatening the male attendant.

The man went behind the counter and opened the till, removing cash. He also took cigarettes before fleeing from the store.

The male attendant was not physically harmed during the robbery.

The man is described as 180cm tall, Caucasian and was wearing a black beanie, dark grey hooded jacket, black trousers and grey shoes. His face was obscured by cloth.

Police have release the below footage of a person wanted in relation to this matter.

Detectives are investigating.
