Barossa Police have arrested a man following an aggravated robbery at Lower Light this morning.

At 5.20am the man allegedly armed with a knife entered a service station on Port Wakefield Road and threatened staff, stealing cash from the till.

Barossa CIB Detectives investigating the incident, a short time ago arrested 19-year-old man from the Adelaide Plains at a Craigmore address. He’s been charged with aggravated robbery and illegal use of a motor vehicle.

The arrested man has been refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.

No one was physically injured in the incident.
