Police are investigating after a licensed premises at Victoria Point was robbed last night.

Around 11.35pm two men each armed with a small axe got out of a car and approached a security guard standing outside the Colburn Avenue business.

After forcing the guard back inside the men ordered patrons to the floor before threatening the manager and demanding money.

The manager complied with the demands for money.

The two men then left and were last seen driving away along Cleveland Redland Bay Road.

The first man is described as 180cm tall of average build and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark pants and a white cap with his face obscured by a white cloth.

The second man is described as being of thin build and also had his face covered by a white cloth. He was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper and dark pants.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue car.
