A man has been arrested after he allegedly robbed a liquor store at Salisbury Plain earlier this afternoon.

At about 3.50pm, the suspect entered the BWS liquor store on Saints Road and demanded money, before stealing two bottles of alcohol and packets of cigarettes.

No one was injured.

He was tracked to a nearby house in Salisbury East and was arrested about an hour later.

The 21-year-old Pooraka man has been charged with aggravated robbery and has been refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
