Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into the armed robbery of a tavern on Dohles Rocks Road in Murrumba Downs on August 21.

At around 9.15pm, a man armed with a hand gun entered the tavern and approached a male staff member at the gaming counter, presenting the firearm and demanding money.  The man grabbed a quantity of cash before leaving the scene on foot in the direction of the Dohles Rocks Road intersection.

The 20-year-old male staff member was not physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, of slim build, approximately 165cm tall and was wearing a dark oversized jacket, dark knee length shorts and a black cap with writing on the front.  He was armed with a small black handgun.
