24 October 2015 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Helidon

Detectives are investigating following the armed robbery of a service station at Helidon early this morning.
Just before 2am two men, one dressed as Santa Claus while the other was in a Spider Man costume, entered the Warrego Highway business armed with a sword and hammer.
The employee retreated to a nearby vehicle while the pair stole a quantity of cigarettes from the store.
The men fled the scene in a white station wagon travelling eastbound on the Warrego Highway.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Police investigations are continuing.
