Police are appealing for public assistance following the armed robbery of a service station at Greenfield Park yesterday.
A man entered the service station on Mimosa Road about 4am (Wednesday 18 November 2015), and confronted the attendant, a 23-year-old man.
The man, who was armed with a rifle and had his face concealed, threatened the attendant and demanded cash and cigarettes.
He fled with a number of items and police were alerted.
Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.
Police are appealing for public assistance and urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information that can assist, to come forward.
