Police are investigating after an armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west.

About 10.20pm (Thursday 19 November 2015), a man entered a service station on Auburn Road, Yagoona, and threatened the male attendant with a knife.

A short time later he ran from the scene empty handed. He was last seen running south on Auburn Road.

The man has been described as 175cm tall, and was wearing a red hooded jumper, and black track pants with a red stripe on them.

Police from Bankstown Local Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries into the incident.
