13 November 2015 – Armed Robbery – Taxi Driver- Walkley Heights

Police are investigating an incident this morning at Walkley Heights where a taxi driver was robbed by two men.

Just before 6am a taxi driver was finishing his shift and cleaning his cab in Pioneer Ave Walkley Heights, when he was approached two men, one armed with a golf club.

The men threatened the taxi driver and then smashed several windows of the cab before stealing the man’s wallet, mobile phone and the night’s takings.

The two suspects fled in a brown Ford Territory driven by a third man.

There were no injuries.
