Today, Detectives from the Serious Crime Task Force arrested two men over an aggravated robbery at the Old Spot Hotel, Salisbury Heights last Friday.

Police will allege that just after 1.30am on Friday 13 November, a man armed with a machete entered the hotel on Main North Road, jumped the counter of the gaming room and threatened staff.

The suspect stole an empty cash till which was found nearby.

As a result of investigations, a 40-year-old man from Ceduna along with a 34-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with aggravated robbery.

Both men were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court and Adelaide Magistrates Court respectively tomorrow.
