Detectives have charged a man after two alleged armed robberies in Bundaberg on November 7 and 8.

Police will allege that around 7.30pm on November 7 a man armed with meat cleaver entered a Thabeban Street bottle shop and demanded money from the male attendant.

Then on November 8 around 4.30am a man armed with a cricket bat and knife entered the rear of a fast food outlet on Takalvan Street. The man allegedly confronted a male and female employee and demanded money from them.

A 20-year-old Bundaberg man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court tomorrow.
