Three men have been charged following a robbery early this morning in Brisbane.
Around 2am, three men entered a backpacker’s hostel on Edward Street and threatened staff with a knife.
They made demands for cash, and when staff complied, one of the men pushed one of the staff members over and the men fled the scene.
The male staff member suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
The three men were located by police in a vehicle a short time later and were taken into custody.
One 27-year-old men from Brisbane has been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit, armed robbery and possess dangerous drugs.
A further two men, a 58-year-old from Brisbane and a 27-year-old from Eagleby have each been charged with enter premises with intent to commit and armed robbery.
All are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
