Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a woman at Mount Gravatt yesterday afternoon.
Around 4.30pm a woman was in the carpark of a Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road sports club when she noticed a man and a woman who she believed were acting suspiciously.
When the woman took a photo of the couple with her mobile phone, the man produced a handgun and demanded the woman’s mobile phone.
The woman complied and the couple left the scene in a sedan which was later found abandoned in the carpark of a Newnham Road licensed premises.
