Just after 10.30am, patrols were called to a pharmacy on Honeypot Road after a man allegedly armed with a knife threatened staff before leaving with an amount of cash. No one was physically injured.
The suspect is described as being Caucasian, about 177cm tall, thin build and wearing dark pants, a navy blue hooded top with the wording on the front and two tone sneakers that were red at the front and dark at the back.
He was also carrying a large timber handled curved knife and a white plastic bag with what is believed to be a red coloured map of Australia.
The suspect was last seen heading east along Honeypot Road.
