Police are investigating an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Newmarket yesterday evening.
Around 9.45pm a man entered the Enoggera Road premises making threats, alluding to being armed with a weapon, and demanding cash.
A male staff member complied with demands and the man fled the store on foot with a sum of cash.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
