Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Durack last night.
Initial investigations indicate that just past 8.30pm, a man entered a service station on Blunder Road and approached the front counter.
He then produced a knife and threatened the attendant behind the counter, making demands for money.
The attendant complied and the man fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash. He was last seen running into a park on the corner of Blunder Road and Inala Avenue.
Nobody was physically injured during this incident.
The man is described as being around 175cm tall and of Pacific Islander appearance. At the time of the incident he was seen to be wearing a light blue shirt, blue shorts and white shoes.
