Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a chemist at Sunnybank Hills this afternoon.
Just after 1pm, a man entered the Beenleigh Road store armed with a knife before threatening a female staff member and making demands for cash.
The man then reportedly fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Investigations are continuing.
