Detectives investigating an armed robbery at Woodridge overnight have released images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Just before 2am two men entered the Kingston Road service station and approached the counter after selecting a drink from a fridge.
At the counter one man produced a knife whilst the other produced an axe and demanded cigarettes.
The male attendant jumped over the counter and ran to safety outside the store.
The two men went behind the counter and took a tray of cigarettes before leaving the store. They were last seen running north along Kingston Road.
The male attendant was not physically harmed during the robbery.
The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build, approximately 175cm tall, with curly dark hair, wearing a football jersey and armed with an axe.
The second man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, of solid build, approximately 170cm tall, short or shaved hair, wearing a football jersey and armed with a knife.
